I Verb

I live for the days that are filled with both expected and unexpected adventures, especially when it involves experiencing something new. That's when I feel like the fullest version of myself, and especially when done alongside of awesome people.

I love my family, and the friends who I consider to be family.

I eat more eggs than most people. I'm a pretty healthy eater, and rarely ever cook for myself, so eggs are my easy, protein filled, tasty solution! But my favorite foods are sushi and crab legs.

I drink coffee with a little bitta creamer. I'm sort of an entirely different person pre and post coffee. But once my coffee has hit my system, I'm sunny, golden, and ready to take on the day with full force.

I sleep lightly. Any kind of noise or sound wakes me up unless it is steady and consistent (like a fan). Sleeping in new places is especially hard.

I laugh at goofy things. And if the laugh turns into a giggle-fit, I literally can't stop.

I fear planting roots. It's not that I'm scared of commitment especially as it pertains to work, personal goals, or relationships, but the idea of feeling stuck rattles my chain.

I follow hockey. But chances are, you already knew that.

I regret dating a few d-bags that are a part of my past, making some decisions that aren't in line with my character, and maybe a few other things. But I think the point of it isn't to live without regrets, but instead to learn from them so you continuously better yourself and your life.

I look away when I see or hear anyone in pain, including myself.

I run full speed ahead at anything I want, sometimes to a fault. However, this has mostly been a positive attribute to my life.

I wish I could teleport. Oh the places I'd go, and the people I'd meet and visit!

I crave the time where there was no social media or dating apps, and people were just people. There was no digital comparisons or fighting the grass is always greener battle. It was much more simple. Uncomplicated joy.

I cry, but not very often.

I believe in finding the good in less than ideal situations. Humor, when possible.

I pray when I'm scared, stressed, frustrated and thankful.

I work like I have a gun to my head.

I cheer for the real life underdogs.

I feel my emotions so intensely. Luckily, I'm in good moods almost always, and I don't think there are many people that can feel my level of happiness. It really does seem like the happiest of happies.

I respect people who put their lives on the line for others. To me, that is the truest definition of bravery.

I count down to big events - good and bad in my life. 34 more days until my next trip to Europe.

I express myself through writing and painting.

Dana Podgurski

Hi everyone! I'm Dana Podgurski!

I'm a foot in the mouth, tongue in cheek, head in the clouds, and heart on the sleeve kind of gal. I live for new experiences, but am a total sucker for nostalgia at the same time. I'm tough as nails, but am a complete softie for all things kids and animal-related. I fly by the seat of my pants, and live for adventure. But I firmly believe that adventure is a mindset that one's self determines.

For work, I am a marketer through and through. Bringing brands to life, and content marketing are passions of mine. Many would consider what I do as nerdy, but I seriously dig it. I have been doing marketing contract work for years, and appreciate the variety it brings, and the relationships I've developed with my clients. If you're interested in a partnership, click here.

For fun, I love to create - writing/blogging, photography, and painting are my main three mediums of doing so. Feeling good and healthy is also high on my list, as it really lends itself to making everything more enjoyable. So I maintain a very active lifestyle, eat pretty healthy, and am outdoors as much as I can be. And if my blog didn't make it abundantly clear, I absolutely LOVE to travel (near and far) and go on adventures. I spend any extra money I have on tickets and feel so fortunate to have been to several amazing destinations both domestically and internationally. There's nothing more fulfilling than coming home from a trip and adding a been-there-pin to my map.

Cheers!

Dana
